An Obligatory Insurance of Foreigners to obtain visa for stay in the Czech Republic. There is offered a wide range of insurance coverage and top-level assistance. In case of an abrupt sickness or bodily injury during the stay in the Czech Republic, the Insurance covers the necessary and urgent health care including hospitalisation.
The Insurance is recognised by the Foreigners Police and it complies with the terms and conditions of Act No. 326/1999 Coll., On Stay/Residence of Foreigners in the Territory of the Czech Republic.
The upper limit guarantee for insurance benefit is in the amount of EUR 30,000 and the Insurance can be agreed for a period up to three (3) years.
As an obvious part of the Insurance, high-quality and continuous assistance service in the Czech, English, Russian, and Vietnamese languages is offered for twenty (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week.
The insurance company AXA ASSISTANCE shall pay for the client the costs related to:
- an abrupt sickness or bodily injury;
- hospitalisation;
- medicaments prescribed within outpatient care;
- treatment by a dental doctor in cases of acute pain state of teeth;
- transportation to a health care facility if the state of the Insured excludes transportation by a public means of transportation; and
- repatriation of the Insured, including transportation of mortal remains to the Insured’s home country.
Under this Insurance, the Insured shall not pay the “regulation fees” in a health care facility.
The Insurance may be bought in two variants:
REFERENCE – it covers tourist or study stays. For students, a 20% discount of the insurance premium price is granted.
KOMFORT – it covers working stays, including bodily injury or injuries following from performance of an occupation.
