General information
The PREMIUM Comprehensive Health Insurance for Foreigners is intended for those who intend to stay in the Czech Republic for 90 days or more, apply for a long-term visa or residence, or wish to extend it and require PREMIUM insurance coverage with a higher than standard limit of insurance benefits.
The Comprehensive care is provided at contracted medical facilities in the Czech Republic. For stays in the Schengen area, the insurance covers necessary and emergency medical care (however, stays outside the Czech Republic must not last longer than 30 days).
The insurance covers
- outpatient care,
- inpatient and curative care (including diagnostic, preventive, emergency and dispensary care),
- emergency services,
- transport of the patient and the provision of outpatient prescribed medication,
- repatriation of the insured or the insured's remains,
- care related to pregnancy and childbirth,
- allowance for extra health care
- liability insurance
- luggage insurance
- accident insurance
- telemedicine insurance
